Just wanna get this out there since this is the last chance to theorise!!
My list of suspects is, in this order:
1. MELISSA - this is, to me, the most realistic and likely possible reveal. Though I have no idea of what her motives would be, she’s the one character that has been shady for the longest time and still has a lot to answer for.
2. ALISON - this one would be the craziest. I don’t think it’s very likely but I’ve been thinking about it a lot and it would make sense the most to me. If it’s her, she did this to get answers about Charlotte. She paid someone to impregnate her to win over Emily - it worked, since the baby is the reason she broke up with Paige. She definitely has money since she inherited from Charlotte. Hints in favour of this theory are, obviously, the initials A.D., and Mona saying whoever was behind the game was an addict who loved to play with people’s lives. I always thought Alison’s character development, going from a master manipulator bully to a kind girl, was a bit unrealistic and we’ve been duped by Charlotte so that’s a possibility. She also didn’t swear when all the other girls did. And that dream of her writing all of her identities on a board is definitely a hint to me.
3. LUCAS - I don’t completely believe in this but I think it’s likely because he’s been consistently in the last 2 seasons and has had his fair share of secrets and shadiness.
There’s one question that comes back to me everytime and that I have absolutely no answer for, whoever A.D. is: why did they recruit Aria?
